At the very start, of the vision, the whole team and I saw a room, jam-packed with amazing women from all walks of life. It would be the end of the book writing process but the beginning of a powerful sisterhood.
On Wednesday evening as I stood in front of the crowd, I knew we had made it. We had succeeded in writing a book that would do exactly what it said on the tin.
Everyone who showed up to our event truly showed up. The energy in the room was electric and intoxicating. Powerful women, all with one thing on their mind, their fellow sisters and breaking this menopause taboo.
Other than having a bit of a sore throat from the remnants of a cold, everything else was perfect. I floated around all night on positive vibes, watching new friendships being made and women truly being themselves in a safe a loving environment. It was amazing.
Since Wednesday the feedback has been awesome, here is what some of the ladies had to say:

"Such a lovely evening! Well done you! I'm snuggled up with the book, I can't put it down"
"It was wonderful! The canapes were DELICIOUS. It was wonderful to bump into old friends. Thank you so much for everything. I feel full up to the brim this morning"
"Thank you so much for an amazing evening. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We are super proud of you and your achievements and you truly are an inspiration to women and girls"
"Thank you for inviting me to your beautiful launch, you are truly awe-inspiring and I had a lovely time and met some amazing ladies "
"thank you for being an inspiration, an exemplar and a force to be reckoned with... Love you loads.. and more so thank you for having us"
"girl... lady... kween... Thank you... thank you, what a beautiful uplifting empowering sisterhood event. You have created a sisterhood community"
"Gurrrrl! you really don't know how empowering it was. I was in physical pain, and stress when I arrived but left feeling something powerful and not fleeting"
I could go on for days but I think you all get the point, we are on target. Women need a safe space to just be. We need to be accepted at each stage in our lives and valued for all that we are.
I am super proud of you all, and I look forward to moving onto the next stage and starting our empowerment workshops.
Until the next time remember, "I am my Sisters Keeper."

We are so excited to share this book with all of our sisters, family and friends. It has been an amazing project to work on and we feel that no matter your experience with menopause, you will find some touching and thought-provoking value in this novel.
